Criteria
for Membership
To qualify for membership in the NCADA, an attorney must be a member in
good standing with the North Carolina State Bar. The attorney must
devote a substantial portion of his or her professional time to the
representation of individual defendants or businesses in civil litigation.

Bylaws of the NCADA.
Applications for new members are reviewed by the Board of Directors at its
quarterly meetings. Each applicant must be nominated by two current and
active members of the NCADA.
Regular Member dues are $195 per year. New
members are invoiced upon approval for membership by the Board of Directors.
A one-time new member initiation fee of $25 is applied in addition to the
regular dues. The NCADA’s membership year runs from January 1 to
December 31yearly. Dues are not pro-rated during the course of the
membership year.
