Data centers are being built at an unprecedented pace to meet the demands of AI, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure. As these projects grow in size and complexity, so do the disputes that arise among owners, contractors, operators, equipment suppliers, and surrounding communities.

Attendees will explore the technical issues at the heart of some of the industry’s most common and consequential conflicts. From noise complaints and environmental concerns to cooling system failures, equipment malfunctions, and performance shortfalls, these disputes often hinge on engineering and scientific principles that can significantly influence liability and outcomes.

The experts with Exponent, Matthew Perrella, Ph.D., P.E., Matt Edwards, Ph.D., P.E., P.Eng., EUR ING, and Mohammad Dodaran, Ph.D., will break down the engineering analyses commonly used in data center litigation and claims, including acoustics, thermodynamics, reliability engineering, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations.
