NCADA members come from diverse backgrounds, practice areas, and work for firms of all sizes, private corporations, municipalities and government departments and agencies. To qualify for membership, an attorney must be a member in good standing with the NC State Bar, practice primarily for the defense of civil litigation and be nominated by two members of the NCADA.

For an annual fee of $275, lawyers in private practice who devote a substantial portion of their professional time to the representation of businesses, insurance companies and/or their insureds, associations, or governmental entities in civil litigation may join NCADA. Corporate Council Membership
Attorneys employed exclusively by a corporate or other private sector organizations for the purpose of providing legal representation to that corporation, its affiliates and subsidiaries are invited to join the NCADA. Corporate / in-house counsel may join and attend seminars at a reduced rate.
Government Attorney Membership
Membership in the NCADA is open to public sector attorneys practicing in local, state and federal government in North Carolina. To be eligible for membership, applicants' practice must be consistent with the purposes and bylaws of the Association. You must also be a member in good standing with the NC State Bar and be nominated by two current NCADA members. The annual membership fee is offered at at reduced annual dues of $125. Paralegals whose practice is consistent with the purpose and bylaws of the NCADA are invited to join and become an active part of our Paralegal Division. New paralegal member applicants are required to have one supervising attorney member sponsor their application. Paralegal members are welcome to attend all programs and events of the NCADA at a reduced rated. The annual member dues are $75. Just complete and return this membership application today!
Law Student Membership
Law Students interested in learning more about the civil defense trial practice are invited to join the NCADA. Membership is open to law students of ABA certified law schools in North Carolina. New applicants are not required to be nominated for membership. For an annual dues of $10 per year, law student members are able to attend NCADA events for no registration fee, however, any and all other expenses are at the individual attendee's cost.
