Nominations Open for NCADA Leadership
The North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys is now accepting nominations for five positions on the NCADA Board of Directors, each serving a three-year term beginning at the close of the 2026 Annual Meeting and ending at the close of the 2028 Annual Meeting.
Board Member Responsibilities
- Regular attendance and participation at quarterly Board meetings.
- Supporting membership recruitment and retention efforts.
- Contributing to NCADA programs and services.
- Authoring or securing contributions to The Resource and other Association publications, as needed.
Qualifications for Nominees
- Member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
- Member in good standing with the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
- Demonstrated commitment to NCADA through regular attendance at the Annual Meeting and other programs and activities.
Practice Group Leadership Opportunities
Leadership opportunities are also available within NCADA’s practice groups for members interested in helping guide educational programming and member engagement. Members committed to the continued growth and relevance of NCADA through its practice groups are encouraged to be considered for these roles.
Nomination Submission Requirements
Please include the following with each nomination:
- Member name, firm, contact information, and a brief biographical sketch.
- Brief statement from the nominee regarding availability and commitment to actively serve as a Board member or practice group leader.
- Brief statement explaining why the nominee wishes to serve in this leadership capacity.
Nominations may be submitted by email to the Nominating Committee in care of Executive Director Lynette Pitt at lynettepitt@ncada.org and must be received no later than Monday, April 20, 2026, at 5 p.m.
