3rd Annual Southeastern Women Litigators Conference
February 29-March 1, 2024
Women litigators in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee are teaming up again to support, educate and advance women civil defense litigators at the 3rd Annual Southeastern Women Litigators Conference (SEWL) on February 29 & March 1 at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN.
Taking inspiration from country music legend Dolly Parton who once said, “Find out who are you are and do it on purpose,” we’ll spend two half-days exploring ways to excel as trial lawyers in an often male-dominated arena.
Events will kick off on Thursday at noon with a luncheon followed by programming the rest of the day. We’ll gather for cocktails, mocktails, and networking at happy hour. Then everyone will disperse to Dutch treat dine-arounds, hopefully getting to know a new group of women litigator colleagues.
Friday’s programming will last until noon, with our last session being a conversation with Judge Frank G. Clement, Jr. He has served on the Court of Appeals of Tennessee since 2003, and he presently serves as the presiding judge of the Middle Section of the Court. In 2012, he was the recipient of the Appellate Judge of the Year Award from the Tennessee chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He’ll share insights from his experiences working with women in the courtroom.

Registration Fees: The registration fee is $325 early bird (includes two luncheons, and happy hour.) Early registration ends Feb. 9th.
Hotel: We have a room block at the Hutton Hotel. The Hutton Hotel is located at 1808 West End Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee. Group reservations for the meeting can only be made for registered seminar attendees. Guaranteed reservations must be accompanied by a major credit card.
