How to Recognize and Prevent Costly HVAC Mistakes Before You’re All Wet
The proper implementation of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems can be essential for human comfort, indoor air quality, and structural integrity. These systems are often taken for granted, but defects in the design, installation, or maintenance of HVAC systems can lead to occupant discomfort, reduced indoor air quality, and costly building repairs. In this presentation, we will use case studies to review common mistakes that can occur in the execution of HVAC systems and explore the roles and responsibilities of designers, manufacturers, installers, maintenance personnel, and owners in ensuring the safe and effective operation of HVAC systems.
